Refund policy

We want the pieces you receive to feel right. If they don't, we'll work with you to put it right.

Return window

You may return any item within 14 days of delivery, provided it's in original condition — unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging.

How to start a return

Write to hello@lanternhours.com with your order number and a brief note about why you're returning the item. We'll reply with return instructions within two business days.

Return shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered. We recommend using a tracked service — we can't be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Refunds

Once we receive your return and confirm its condition, we'll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refunds typically take an additional 3–7 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Damaged or defective items

If an item arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, write to hello@lanternhours.com within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll arrange a replacement or a full refund (including shipping) at no cost to you.

Non-returnable items

Sale items, custom orders, and gift cards are final sale and cannot be returned.

Exchanges

We don't process direct exchanges. Please return the original item per the process above and place a new order for the item you'd like.
